My name is Mrs. Deborah Bowman and I am the founder of Teaching Little Children.   I have truly been blessed to teach dance for 23 years to so many little girls (and a few boys) in the Atlanta area. I began TLC to practice discipline on children so I would become a better mother and never imagined that TLC would grow to become my career.

I feel so fortunate to be operating in my passion.  I always wanted girls- (I have 4 boys, ha, ha) and now I have so many little girls!!  My dance career started at the age of 3 and continued through age 18.  I was a member of the Oak Ridge Academy Dance Ensemble and performed throughout high school. My goal is to give your child a positive experience in dance and to develop a confidence in themselves through movement.

I started dancing at the age of 3 and have been dancing ever since. I began teaching for TLC in 2000 while I earned my business degree at Kennesaw State University and continued teaching until I moved in 2005. I was fortunate enough that when my husband and I moved back in 2008 I was able to jump back in at TLC where I left off!

In May 2011 I had my first child so I am spending most of my days with him. While I don’t have a full schedule of classes right now, I do miss dancing with all the little girls so I’ll be out subbing whenever possible!
